CL 11 has been especially designed to produce a smooth, flat surface when applied to hard, rigid sub-floors such as cement sand screeds, concrete, etc. CL 11 contains high quality special cements and selected fillers so that, when mixed with water, it produces a free-flowing mortar with self-levelling properties. The mortar can be applied at a thickness from 3 - 5mm and suitable for internal areas only.

USES

 Levelling and smoothing uneven internal sub-floors such as concrete, cement sand screed, quarry tiles, etc. prior to the installation of carpets, ceramic tiles, vinyl or parquet flooring. Not suitable for exposed wearing surfaces.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Use a suitable degreaser to remove polish, wax, grease, oil and similar contaminating substances. Where hard, firmly adhered adhesive residues are present they should be of sufficient cohesive strength to support the applied levelling compound; a trial application is recommended to assess suitability. Do not apply CL 11 over old residues that are softened by water.

Surface Preparation The substrate must be dry, hard, sound, free of dust and the barrier materials such as paint, lime coatings, plaster, curing agents, wax, polish, laitance, etc.

Application Pour the mixed CL 11 onto the primed substrate and using a steel finishing trowel or float spread the material well within its working time. Roll the surface using a spiked roller to release all entrapped air.
