Epoxy grouting for tiles is a popular method used to fill the gaps or joints between tiles. Unlike traditional cement-based grout, epoxy grout is made from epoxy resin, which offers several advantages such as increased durability, stain resistance, and easy maintenance. Ensure that the tiles are clean and free from any dust, debris, or existing grout. Use a vacuum or a brush to remove any loose particles. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to mix the epoxy grout. Typically, it involves combining the resin and hardener components in the correct proportions. Use a mixing paddle or a stirring stick to thoroughly mix the components until they are well blended. Allow the mixed epoxy grout to slake for a few minutes as recommended by the manufacturer. This step allows the grout to achieve the right consistency. Using a rubber grout float or a rubber spatula, spread the epoxy grout diagonally across the tile joints, ensuring complete coverage. Press the grout into the joints, making sure they are filled uniformly. After applying the epoxy grout, use the rubber grout float at a 45-degree angle to remove the excess grout from the tile surface. Move the float diagonally across the tiles, applying gentle pressure to prevent pulling out the grout from the joints.
